Description
Our client is currently looking for 2 ETL/Data warehouse Developers with solid and extensive experience in the solution design, development, and support of Microsoft based DW/BI.
The role:
- Develop various functional components of the data warehouse and applications, including;
- Development of (primarily Teradata SQL) scripts and processes for loading and integration of data,
- Physical table and database design
- Data cleansing functions, and;
- System management functions including load automation, data acquisition functions and others.
- Have previous experience with implementation and configuration of extract programs on source systems, utilising IBM Infosphere Information Server (ETL) full product suite, within an Australian Government Security Protected environment, including;
- Extensive installation and configuration experience with DataStage, Quality Stage and Information Analyser Infosphere Products, and;
- Knowledge and experience with foundation tools such as Business Glossary, Information Analyser and Metadata Workbench.
Skills/experience:
- Have extensive and demonstrated experience in Data Warehousing, Information Management or Business Intelligence Projects.
- Proven and extensive technical expertise in the Teradata platform and integration with other systems/Project deliverables.
- Proven experience in developing overall ETL processes.
- Demonstrate ability to work with technical delivery teams to ensure compliance to the agreed architecture.
- Have previous experience within an enterprise data warehousing discipline with demonstrated delivery from a detailed enterprise wide data model at the logical and physical levels.
- Understand and describe BI requirements and evaluate data for conformance to expectations.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS and a NV1/SECRET clearance is highly desirable.
