Description
Summary:
As a Senior Network Engineer you will have a history of supervisory experience. You will coordinate and own all escalated Severity 1 incidents through to resolution as well as achieving consistent acceptance or handoff of outstanding issues to other teams.
Responsibilities:
Last point of contact before escalation to Tier 4 (3rd Party Support)
Leads from the front to solve complex, cross-functional issues that cross multiple technologies and can apply good analytic process to help bring incidents to resolution
Provide leadership and guidance with regards to, incident and Problem Management, Identification of Chronic issues and Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Teams
Leads others in a team environment to achieve common goals while providing technical leadership to key stakeholders and end-customers
Reviews and updates operational services processes daily
Maintains operational documentation necessary to operate all systems, including execution schedules, job descriptions, flow charts and escalation procedures
Skill Requirement:
Professional level CCDP or CCNP and CCIE written highly desired
6+ years combined experience in technical hands-on design, implementation and support of medium to large IT Data Center operations
6+ Years of experience in all aspects of IP Data Networking such as:
IP routing protocols: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast or MPLS
Network protocols: TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, SNMP & DNS
2+ Year experience in all aspects of Data Security such as, Cisco CCSP or CheckPoint CCSE
Security protocols: SSH, HTTP/STTPS, FTP/SFTP, SMTP or Telnet, Cisco ASA/Check Point/VPN- F5/Nortel/Proxy appliances- BlueCoat
