NHS SQL Server Developer required - 3-4 months, NewcastleA NHS SQL Server Developer is required for 3-4 months in Newcastle. The role has arisen due to an expansion in the business intelligence team due to exciting new technical projects.
If successful you will be responsible for performance tuning, optimisation of the database and using your superior SQL skills to bring down SQL query response time. In return you will get to work with an exciting new team on interesting projects with good scope for extension with my client.
Type: 3 month (initial - possibility to extend)
Rate: £275 to £375 per day - DOE
Location: Newcastle

Essential
- SQL Server 2008, 2008R2 or 2012
- Development of existing data warehousing
- Optimisation and Performance tuning of Database
- TSQL Scripts/Queries
- Migration from Legacy to SQL server
- SQL Profiling/debugging tools
- Previous NHS experience
Desirable
- SSIS
- SSAS
Job description
- Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, exports, and reports
