Description
A Data Centre Technology Specialist is required for a 12 month contract based in Dublin City Centre.
All applicants will need to be eligible to work in Ireland as sponsorship will not be provided.
Role:
Participate fully in the day-to-day activities of the Network Services hosting team.
Provide third level support for clients and resolve any hosting related issues that members of staff may have.
The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day configuration and management of a highly complex environment and will strive to improve all areas of its performance
Requirements:
4 plus years' experience in a predominantly Windows hosting environment.
Full understanding of all areas of operations with in-depth knowledge of Firewalls, routing, DNS, Windows Server OS, web publishing technologies, storage solutions & hosting security.
Good Design experience of Architecting Data Centre Solutions.
A suitable range of technical qualifications would be required, eg MCSE, CCSE, CCNA/CCNP, etc.
Very good reporting & communication skills to talk to senior management and clients.
Will have to be a good team player.
