Site Health, Security and Environment Manager
Location: Chalon sur Saone, France
Role Definition
- Reports to the Head of Department Construction and Commissioning HSE and within the project organisation to the Site Manager and the Lead Construction and Commissioning HSE
- Supports and advises the Site Manager, the Construction Manager and the Commissioning Manager regarding construction and commissioning HSE issues
- Acts upon the fulfilment of the project specific HSE requirements on site
- Coordinates all work between his team members/interfaces between other disciplines and team members on the project.
HSE Tasks
Professional Tasks
- Monitoring of the implementation and effectiveness of the site HSE management system
- Elaboration of suggestions for HSE improvement measures with regard to construction and commissioning
Operational Tasks
- Support the site management in the implementation of the project specific HSE Program Site
- Develop, update, organise and execute trainings for the site personnel with regard to HSE
- HSE coordination of the different contractors
- Contribution of the permit to work system
- Inspection of the entity's and contractor's temporary site facilities with regard to legal and project specific HSE requirements
- Support the site management in the preparation and execution of internal and external site HSE audits
- Support the site management in the preparation of HSE reporting
- Collaboration with all participating HSE organisations, personnel of client, personnel of contractors and suppliers, plant medical service, first aid station and plant security
Requirements
- A very good English level is necessary
- Minimum 8 years experience as an HSE Manager
