Role - Web GUI Developer - Front-End Developer - JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Client - Global FTSE 500 Consultancy

Web GUI Developer
Responsibilities:
• Software developer for the development team with strong JavaScript skills and excellent knowledge of web technologies
• Design and implementation of the browser-based user interface for the application.
• Integration and test of the application front-end
• Development of automated tests (e.g. unit test) for software features

Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 5 years experience in JavaScript programming, HTML, CSS
• Very good practical experience (min 2 years) designing interactive web front-ends, preferably using the Dojo Toolkit
• Excellent understanding of client-side web technologies such as AJAX, REST, DOM, cross-browser compatibility
• SQL (e.g. Postgres) and C# skills are beneficial

This is an initial 6 month contract, however the project plan is for 2 years!
