Market leading linguistics organisations based in Bradford are looking to secure a candidate for a Fantastic opportunity to support their existing database team. The company has just opened its 63RD Office this year and is still growing. The company has huge plans for growing the Database team and has lots of project work for this financial year.

Ideally my candidate is looking to get A highly experience SQL DBA with extensive experience of working in a production environment as well as supporting the live database structure.

Main responsibilities:
* Supporting database ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard.
* All critical data is backed up to the relevant media and data restores are tested regularly.
* Work closely with Development and Server teams to ensure that the best Database solutions are deployed.
* Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises, provide databases support as required.
* Report any DR issues to the relevant departments.
* Ensure that all Databases systems are available in accordance with the SLAs.
* Monitoring databases using the correct tools as well as reviewing and testing them regularly.

Essential Skills required:
* Excellent Knowledge of SQL Server /R2 administration experience.
* Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
* Experienced in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability.
* Knowledge of T-SQL and stored procedures to be of an excellent standard.
* Application deployment, configuration and management
* Managing the internal and external MS SQL database security.
* Deployment and Support Knowledge in SSRS ,
* Must be able Articulate
