Based in Scotland, our client is currently seeking an experienced Contract Power Electronics Engineer to start with immediate effect for an initial 3 months. It is expected that the chosen candidate will have at least 10 + years Power Electronics and Analogue Design experience with good exposure to power management and power supply design. Key requirements:
10 + years experience in analogue, power management, power supplies or battery technology.
Working knowledge of CAD tools such as Proteus, OrCad and Altium
Experience in DC/DC converters; conversion topologies, Phase Shift Full Bridge, Flyback, Buck, BuckBoost etc
Thorough understanding of control theory and its application to analogue control systems.
Knowledge of voltage mode, peak current mode and average current mode control strategies
