Hi,I'm looking for a Data Analyst (inventory analytics and demand planning) with at least 3 years’ work experience in SC planning operations (preferably Chemistry / process industry) and deep experience with related applications, i.e. SAP APO, R/3, BW, Excel, Access DB etc. in Mannheim/Ludwigshafen area.
Project description:
- Support service professional to operationally execute IA / DP support services for internal customers
- Conduct analysis activities for IA / DP support services
- Conduct system and tool based analysis & activities for IA / DP support services
- Primary liaison to customers IT support team
Functional:
- Experience in Inventory Management & Control (inventory processes, driver, control, financial impact, etc.)
- Experience in SC Planning processes (S&OP) and relevant SAP solutions (i.e. SAP APO)
- Strong SC process knowledge (S&OP, Inventory Management, Demand and Supply Planning)
- Basic knowledge in SC Network Optimization
- Strong analytical, numerical, math, statistics skills
- Expertise of relevant SAP applications (especially SAP SmartOps, APO DP, BW, R/3 )
- Familiarity with all basic business tools (email, Microsoft suite of products)
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to manipulate data, conduct analysis, and generate reports. This may include requirements to understand Macros.
- Supply Chain, IT functional knowledge
- Process / Chemical industry knowledge

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
- Communication and interpersonal understanding

- Business fluent English skills + local language depending on location (preferred)
Professional work experience:
- Experience in Supply & Demand planning operations
- Previous experience working in a service organization
Educational background:
- University master degree preferred (SC and logistics), however a bachelor may be considered sufficient depending on work experience
- APICS CPIM and CSCP certification preferred
- IBF certification desired for Demand Planning area
- Working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems or relevant systems in Inventory Analytics space
Language skill: English, German (both fluent)
