Description
My Client has one of the largest CO2 departments in Texas and is seeking a well-rounded engineer to work within a multiple person technical team to plan and develop new CO2 floods in the Permian Basin. The selected candidate will be responsible for1. Identification, evaluation and capture of new CO2 flood opportunities;
2. Lead the effort to methodically guide the company in efforts to maximize the value of our unique position with regards to CO2 ownership;
3. Leading the effort to define and evaluate alternate development scenarios and deal structures to facilitate capture and development of new opportunities;
4. Co-developing (with management & other team members) strategies to profitably grow CO2 flooding business;
5. Interface with production, facilities, drilling, and pipeline engineers during design, implementation and management of the project
Qualifications
BS or greater in Petroleum Engineering or other related engineering discipline
5+ years of experience in engineering in the oil and gas industry. Entirely capable of working independently, but also very active and effective working in a team environment;
Experience with design, implementation, and surveillance of CO2 floods, production/injection forecasting, reserves reporting.
Show ability to demonstrate significant knowledge of E&P economics including familiarity with risk analysis (Crystal Ball), experience with industry economic software such as Aries, Peep, PhdWin. A proven track record working effectively within a multi-disciplined development team
An objective and analytical approach, with a solid command of E&P project economics and deal structures.
A clear thinker, concise and effective communicator, and a preferred teammate.
