We are urgently seeking a SAP Business Intelligence Analyst to work in Harrow.

Please note that the salary range given is £45000 per annum, however we very much welcome your profile if you require a higher rate than this.

The main duties will involve delivering the support, maintenance and development for the business intelligence and reporting systems utilised within our client. The role demands an in-depth knowledge of data warehousing and data management, database design and troubleshooting of performance issues.

Key accountabilities include:

o Identifying and resolving technical issues within the Business Intelligence environment. This includes but is not limited to: ABAP, Web Application Designer, Visual Composer; BEX Analyser, Query Designer, and Web Analyser.
o Design and build of new reporting solutions using SAP NetWeaver 7.0 & 7.3 reporting tool suite.
o Understanding business challenges and translating them into requirements and solutions.
o Building & monitoring of process chains and working to ensure they are scheduled appropriately (utilising SAP Central Process Scheduling (CPS) application).
o Providing solution performance analysis and tuning.
o Ensuring alignment and convergence of projects, support activity, and strategy.
o Leading or assisting in technical aspects of the delivery of BI solutions & related components: interfaces, conversions, and oversight of hardware and software (including recommendation and implementation of selection, sizing and configuration).

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

Significant experience of the following technologies:
o SAP NetWeaver 7;
o SAP Business Warehouse (3.x,7.0,7.3);
o SAP Visual Composer;
o SAP Business Explorer Toolset (including Query Designer and Web Analyser).

In addition:-
o The successful candidate will hold recognised technical qualifications to support their level of experience and to substantiate their level of knowledge;
o Have experience of working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Finance functions;
o UK Security Clearance will be required or must be acquired for the role;
o Understanding of IT Systems disciplines, including: requirements, management, configuration management, change control, reliability analysis and quality management;
o Excellent written and oral communication skills and a strong service focus.

Desirable:
Experience in at least one of the following :
o IBM Cognos BI covering Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Metric Studio, Event Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer and Administration (job monitoring, user set up, creating data sources install, upgrade & configuration)
o IBM Cognos Planning v10.1 experience, Analyst and Contributor.
o IBM Cognos TM1
o SQL server considered) covering Database & query development, Basic administration (backups & restores etc),SSIS.
