Global Indirect Procurement Manager sought for a leading international manufacturer of special purpose machinery and bespoke capital equipment.Based in Birmingham this new position comes from a company with a strong heritage that in recent years has doubled in size. Amidst this ongoing growth they continue to have new opportunities for new and existing employees.
Now seeking a Global Indirect Procurement Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, with the Global Sourcing Leader, and execution for 'Indirect commodities' within this companies network. To qualify you will have a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering background and MBA or Degree within Engineering where you will lead from the front and establish yourself within this profitable, reputable company.

Essential:
- Engineering & Manufacturing background
- MBA, Degree within Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering Degree
- Experience within Indirect commodities such as Travel, Freight, Postage or Entertainment
- Experience within capital equipment/high precision machinery companies or similar
- Managed Spends in excess of £40million
- Experience within indirect purchasing on a global scale
- Strong negotiation skills, implementing new processes, cost savings & Risk Management
- Experience working on Oracle, MRP & SAP systems
