Large service provider seeking a Senior PMO Project Scheduler to work on a Federal Government account. This position is responsible for providing specialist planning and scheduling expertise to the team including the management and reporting of the program and project schedules.

The role:

  • Provide PMO Scheduling management support to the Project Director, Program Manager and Project Managers as required
  • Establish and/or maintain a best practice Schedule Management Plan to support the establishment, management and reporting of the program and project schedules
  • Produce schedule status reporting as per the agreed PMO and program/project standard and timescales
  • Provide content for Executive Steering Committee Reports in-line with the agreed program standard and timescales
  • Schedule Management
  • Manage the tactical and strategic management of schedules in line with Project Schedule PMO Best Practice standard documented in the Schedule Management Plan
  • Undertake Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Time Management and Scheduling Processes
  • Continual business improvement of the Project Schedule
  • Manage Risks & Issues as appropriate to the role
  • Management of all program and project baselines and schedule related change requests
  • Ensure schedule Project Management Folder structure is in place for all streams and projects on SharePoint
  • Meeting Governance

The candidate:

  • Demonstrated experience in Program Scheduling and Planning
  • Experience as a scheduler on large complex projects, particularly in the realm of Transition and Transformations
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management
  • Previous PMO Experience
  • Advanced skills in Schedule Management
  • Previous experience in Project Reporting, Change Management and Risk & Issue Management
  • Demonstrable experience using PMBOK or relevant project management methodologies in relation to Program scheduling functions
  • Highly Desirable: Communications management, financial reporting and resource reporting experience
