We have an exciting opening for a Database Administrator position with our progressive client in the Columbia, SC area. This is a six month contract opportunity. Excellent communication skills required.

Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Applications Developer with 5-7+ years of relevant experience to perform high complexity (ie system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents, and to resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing high level detailed design for application components, for developing application code to implement business and technical requirements, for developing and executing unit test cases, for supporting the migration of code through various environments, and for supporting user testing.
Candidate Requirements:
5-7+ years of hands on SQL Server and SSIS development and design experience
Strong verbal and written communications skills required
Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), Application Server, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Professional certification(s) and/or a Post-graduate degree is desired
