Description
The contract is with a consultancy to be on assignment to a large European site in Stockholm as follows:-
Tasks and Deliverables performed by the Consultant
The consultant/s shall be requested to perform various tasks related to the projects, products, applications and Services developed in the section involved
- The consultant shall report to the group leader of the data management group.
- The consultant shall participate in the regular meetings of the data management group.
- The consultant should work as defined in the weekly objectives in agreement with the team leader.
- Depending on the consultant's profile, specific tasks for 2012 will be to:
- Support data collections; etc.
- Write/update high quality user documentation;
- Assist/write high quality training material for both on-line and on-site trainings;
- Support the data collections documentation and communication when needed;
Support the written quality of the produced outputs based on the collected data
Education and experience
§ University degree with minimum 1 years' experience in IT OR non-university degree with minimum 2 years' experience in IT;
Competences and skills
- Practical and theoretical experience of data management, preferably in the field of epidemiology and/or public health;
- Experience in data quality assurance, including manual/automated validation of data;
- Experience in handling large, complex data sets, preferably public health related;
- Excellent knowledge of TSQL;
- Experience of data handling using SQL;
- Experience and knowledge of STATA ;
- Team player;
- Good command of English, both spoken and written;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Experience with external user support through helpdesk is beneficial.
