Working at one of the top 100 best places to work in IT as ranked by Computerworld Magazine, the Epic Builder will work on Epic installation and coordinate system activities between end-users and the Epic implementation staff.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Analyzing workflows and business operations
  • Reviewing software and working with departments impacted by EMR
  • Modifying Epic model content
  • Providing support to trainers during user training
  • Analyzing data conversion needs
  • Developing and documenting internal procedures
  • Trouble shooting problems from users
  • Responding to technical questions related to the Epic System
  • Coordinate software updates and changes
  • Reviewing and testing each new release


Skills & Education
  • Four-year degree
  • 2-4 years clinical or other healthcare operation experience
  • Certified in Epic Cadence module or other scheduling EMR systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including superior oral and written communication


Contract, 12-18 months, $80-$100/hr
