Aerospace, safety critical, software, application, embedded, RTCA, DO178-B, matlab, simulink, doors, arincYeovil - 3 months (initial) - Embedded - £40per hour
We have an immediate requirement for a leading aerospace company that design and manufacture World leading aircraft for a variety of industries. The contract is for 3 months initial however there is potential to extend for 12 months +.
As a member of the SW Team, you will be accountable for the management of the software requirements throughout the system life cycle, from early definition, to development, to verification testing and validation in flight. They will also be responsible for the generation, analysis, and resolution of Problem Reports and participate in the Review Boards.
Skills:
- Safety-critical real-time embedded software development for airborne equipment
- Application SW Requirement Specification.
- RTCA DO178-B level A.
- ARINC 653 standard for safety critical systems.
- Matlab/Simulink or similar
- DOORS
- Model based design
- PVCS design management toolset
- Software integration and rig-testing skills
