Senior Service Desk Analyst

Senior Service Desk Analyst - 3-6 months

My client is urgently seeking a Senior Service Desk Analyst based on a 3-6 months contract with a view to extend. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic retail company. Service Desk role is to support stores in UK & Ireland. Additionally the role will be supporting head office staff and remote users. If you have experience of working within a retail environment, it would be a bonus but not a necessity.

Key skills needed for Senior Service Desk Analyst include:

* Providing 1st & 2nd line support

* To ensure that Service Desk tasks are performed correctly and in a timely manner.

* The Senior Service Desk Analyst has the responsibility to ensure that the Service Desk is operating to standard procedures and observing the Service Desk code of conduct.

* Customer Interface - deliver high-quality communications with Customers during service interruptions to their systems and the notification of planned outage.

* Knowledge Management of Service Desk processes, procedures and Asset management.

* Provide excellent customer service at all times

* 5+ years experience of working in an IT Service Support environment

* Excellent working knowledge of Windows desktop & laptop environments including Active Directory/Windows 7/Microsoft Office.
