IT Procurement Project Manager (SC) - Cheshire - Contract - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an IT Project Manager with significant Procurement delivery experience to work at a leading government client based in Cheshire on a contract basis.

This service integration Lead will be responsible for development of various procurement process deliverables and managing high-profile supplier performance.

Responsibilities include:

- Defining Supplier Performance Management strategy

- Defining Transition Approach & Planning

- Work with the BAU management team to agree the strategy to design & develop new service capabilities and produce detailed technical solutions

- Lead on-going 'As-is' service capability reviews

- Provide technical and financial input into the budget process

Experience required:

- A wealth of experience working in complex IT/Procurement programmes.

- Specialist within the area of at least two of the following disciplines: Supplier performance management, End to End service mapping, Commercial model development, and Transition Planning

- Experience of supporting delivery of a formal procurement exercise for IT service contract via a defined programme life cycle

- Significant stakeholder and supplier management experience

- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
