Next Ventures is executing a search for a SAP BW BOBJ senior developer for Business Intelligence projects.Senior SAP BW Business Objects ( BO) developers responsible for the design and development of BI applications based on SJ's new platform for BI & EDW (SAP HANA, SAP BW and Business Objects).
As BW Business Objects developer, you are responsible for design and development of BI applications as business requirements have been collected in the form of standard reports, analysis functionality, dashboards and mobile solutions. This responsibility includes the design and installation of BO Portal where the main parts of the applications are accessible. In your role also includes ensuring that non-functional requirements of the BO are met in terms of performance, security, etc.
You must be a senior consultant who is used to taking a leading role in a development team. You should also have the ability to capture business requirements and break them down into detailed requirements, resulting in a design. In everyday work, you will report to the project's technical project manager. Project and development work is based on the SJ control models for project and system development.
Experience/skills :
Several years (minimum 5 years) practical experience in Business Objects design and development.
Several years of practical experience in BO Portal design and development, sound knowledge of functionality with the portal.
Good understanding of SAP BW, several years of practical experience working with BW as a data source.
Knowledge of security permissions, authorization objects and roles in SAP BW and BOBJ including SAP authentication.
Practical experience in creating policies and procedures for Business Objects development and management .
Good understanding of BOBJ product range - based on business needs, functional goals, business use-cases, and the decision tree for the use of the product .
Knowledge of monitoring and LCM
Additional qualification - Experience:
Analyse and detail the requirements for reports, dashboards, etc.
SAP BW development and/or ETL development with the help SAP Data Integrator
Experience of working with BW on HANA
