Senior Analyst-Programmer/Developer - SharePoint API, .NET, MS SQL, VBA
For a project with the European Commission in Brussels we are looking for a Senior Analyst-Programmer.
Tasks
The consultant will be requested to perform the tasks and activities relating to document & content management and GIS tools.
In particular the following services will be provided:
- Participate to requirements analysis and prototyping of technical solutions (in MS SharePoint 2010) for the EC's Collaborative Platform. This comprises the setting up of security and authorisation mechanism in accordance with pre-defined security rules of the EC.
- Development, implementation, evolutive maintenance, testing, documentation and development-level support of technical solutions within the EC Collaborative Platform environment.
- Contribute to the design and testing of the EC's Collaborative Platform services on SharePoint 2010, with an emphasis on their integration with MS Office 2010.
- Technical support on MS SharePoint 2010 and necessary plugins/modules. Technical support on Collaborative Platform evolution. Technical assistance and organisation to testing and acceptance phases of the EC Collaborative Platform releases, efficiently handling reported bugs and enhancement requests. Participate in the second level support of MS Office/SharePoint 2010 together with other IT unit team members.
- Technical assistance to efficient document migration from current document repositories to the EC's Collaborative Platform.
- Produce technical documentation (in English) of any of the above upon necessity.
Depending on priorities, the EC could assign the service providers to any other IT project to execute tasks and activities corresponding to this profile.
Requirements
Required specific expertise:
- MS SharePoint API, development and administration expertise (ideally on MS SharePoint version 2010)
Desirable expertise
Expertise in the following domains would be an asset.
- .NET API
- MS SQL
- VBA
- MS Windows VMWARE virtualized OS
- Microsoft Active Directory
- HTML/JS/CSS
