Shillington School is looking for an enthusiastic web designer to join their Web Course team in our New York Campus. The role will involve assisting our Head Teacher in the running of the course. Our courses run as a full-time 1 week version and a part-time 5 week version. Our next upcoming full-time course starts on the 7th April.
The Shillington Web Course is a aimed at Graphic Designers who are looking to get foundation skills in HTML & CSS. This in turn aims to increase their knowledge when it comes to designing for the web and working with a developer.
You will be a web designer or front-end developer with proven knowledge in HTML & CSS (including HTML5 & CSS3), along with experience building responsive sites. Keen to pass on your knowledge and previous experience dealing with Designers on web projects in the past.
What you'll be doing- problem solving code issues with students- offering suggestions on the final student project (a portfolio site designed by the student)- presentation of lecture and demonstration content- briefing students in on projects- presenting some of the simple content to start off with, building up to more advanced content as time goes on- fielding questions during demos
