SAP Implementation Project Manager
Purpose of Role
Our client (Genzyme Ireland) currently seeks a SAP Implementation Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will direct the SAP Project implementation and act as an adviser to the project Steering Committee. This is a contract position.
Job Requirements
- Define and agree with the business, the Processes that will be covered in the project Implementation Scope and agree how these will be implemented.
- Ensure that Scope of the SAP implementation is clearly defined and understood.
- Define the SAP project team Roles, Organisation and Resource requirements.
- Develop and manage the site implementation Plan in conjunction with the Global Roll-Out Team
- Develop and manage the site implementation Budget in conjunction with and on behalf of the site steering committee.
- Develop and manage, in conjunction with the site leadership team, the project Governance process
- Develop a process to ensure that Key Decisions are made without delay.
- Work with the Global team to develop the technical design of the Interfaces between SAP and the remaining Legacy systems
- Define and implement the Data Migration strategy, estimates and plan.
- Define and implement the Testing strategy
- Define and implement the Post Implementation Support processes.
- Define and implement the Change Management and Communications Strategies.
- Define and implement a Benefits Tracking framework
Qualifications
University Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Information Technology.
Experience
- Proven SAP implementation track record in Multi-Nationals, with a minimum of 10 years SAP experience and a minimum of 3 implementations managed.
- Experience of implementing SAP in a Pharma. Environment.
- Implementation experience must be "full cycle" experience (Selection, Design, Development, Implementation, Post Implementation)
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong organizational and communications skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to present to, persuade, and work with Boards/Executive teams
