Description
Unified Communication Engineer - Poland - EU/UK Nationals only
- Understand and document customers requirements for a Unified Communications network roll out
- Translate customer requirements into a High Level Network Design Document (HLD)
- Develop Low Level Design for individual components of a HLD like Dial Plan, Gateway Implementation and so on.
- Develop a Network Implementation Plan
- Develop a Network Acceptance Test Plan
- Configure different devices in a UC network
- Execute the network implementation and network acceptance test plan
- Good understanding of Internetworking technologies like Routing and Switching, TCP/IP and so on
- Good understanding of Cisco Unified Communication products like Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Presence, Cisco Voice Gateways, Cisco Unified Call Manager Express
- Good understanding of voice protocols like MGCP, H322, SIP, RTP
- Understanding of Dial Planning, trunk configuration, SCCP and SIP Line side features
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot different features in Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unified Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Presence, Cisco Voice Gateways, Cisco Unified Call Manager Express
- Ability to work in a distributed global team of Network Consulting Engineer on a delivery project
Needs to be proficient in both English (Written and Verbal)
Work experience with European customers being onsite in Europe a definite plus.
Educational Background Recommended
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science or higher degree with 5-10 years experience in Internetworking and Unified Communications Industry
Cisco certifications like CCVP, CCIE a definitive plus
