Process Researcher

Location: Venlo
Duration: 6 months
Languages: Dutch & English

Position's main tasks:
The main task is to make a decomposition and find the root cause of banding artefacts on prints. This means making prints, developing testcharts, design experiments, and understand the physics of the inkjet printing process. This person should know (or learn) how to make relevant testcharts and tooling. Furthermore, he/she should design experiments to understand the phenomena and generate options to improve the banding level and discuss the results with several stakeholders in the project. The person needs to be strong in experimental physics but should be also be able to make models. Also, he/she should be able to work independently.

Need to have:
- Jr/Med
- Background in physics (HBO/WO)
- Experimental, theory, modelling
- Able to communicate and discuss results
- Independent, taking initiative

Nice to have:
background in fluid dynamics.
