Project environment
A global Swiss Bank has a large population of Solaris/SPARC systems, which have to be migrated to Solaris/x86 together with the migration of Oracle Databases in a factory approach.
Tasks
• Responsible for larger and smaller Projects, with all project deliveries.
• Planning, organizing and controlling the projects.
• Leading and coordinating the project teams.
• Delivering the projects according to agreed scope, time and budget.
• Ensuring appropriate change and risk management.
• Managing stakeholders.
• These migration projects have to be managed according to software development lifecycle.
Requirements
• Strong experience in infrastructure migrations as project manager.
• Very good language skills in German and English (written and spoken). The migration requires collaboration with other European branches.
• Technical understanding including Windows Server 2003 and MS SQL 2018.
• Solaris and Oracle know-how would be an asset.
• Strong stakeholder management and communications skills are essential.
• Be able to work independent.
