One of our clients in the process of completing a complex cross-product Calypso implementation for the Markets arm of one of Australia's largest banks. This has led to the requirement for a Calypso Developer/Technical Analyst to work on-site and assist with the effective implementation of the newest version of the system.
Working within a team of consultants working directly for the bank, you will be responsible for customizing, implementing and configuring the Front Office (Pricing & Risk Management) components of the platform for the Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income business areas. You will also be expected to design and develop various interfaces between Calypso and other internal systems to ensure efficient Trade Capture and STP.
This role will best suit an experienced Calypso Technologist that has previously been involved in a number of front-to-back platform implementations. This is a contract role requiring candidate to hit the ground running from day one, therefore applicants without Calypso implementation experience will not be successful.
Requirements of the role:
- At least 5 Years Development Experience (Java) 3 of which working with Calypso
- Intimate knowledge of the Calypso product suite
- Strong Understanding of the Trade Lifecycle (cross product)
- Financial product knowledge - (Ideally Derivatives - FXO/Rates/Credit)
- Calypso implementation experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem owner and solver
