Location: Venlo
Duration: 3 months+
Languages: Dutch + English
Introduction:
Engineer is needed to make detailed drawings for ordering first prototypes of C-MEMS and MEMS-PP with new inkhandling, tile and frame.
Position's main tasks:
Both in C-MEMS as in MEMS-PP, conceptual designs of the printhead have been made. Rough 3D sketches are ready. These drawings have to be detailed in Creo Elements Direct Modelling with respect to manufacturing technology (mainly machining) and 2D drawings have to be made. Goal is to order parts at LW (labwerkplaats) or outsourcing via LW. Discussion with Designers about functional requirement and with LW about makeability. Find balance in construction.
Need to have:
-The candidate has a BSc/HBO education in Mechanical Engineering with approximately 2 years working experience.
-Proficiency in Creo Elements and Annotation.
-Knowledge of (im)possibilities of manufacturing technologies. Mainly machining but possibly also sheet metal and/or additive manufacturing.
-Fluent in Dutch and/or English language.
-Good communication skills.
-Able to transform rough 3D sketches into documentation resulting in functioning and manufacturable parts.
Nice to have:
Experience within Modelmanager and procedures LW.
Affinity with constructions in the field of heat and flow are a pre.
