Description:
Typical tasks include: Windows Citrix server design, build, installation and configuration based on Microsoft and 3rd party applications. This contractor will also be tasked with design and implementation tasks associated with Citrix XenApp, Microsoft RDS and AppV technologies. Application packaging, testing, deployment and integration with Active Directory are also in-scope activities. The associate will create Logical and Physical designs of new environments, and will also need to provide RTS Maintenance and Break/Fix production support coverage.
Job Details:
- Manage installation, maintenance and support of complex technical infrastructures, hardware, and system software components.
- Manage and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
- Provide expert technical direction to Sr. System, System, Associate Engineers and contractors.
- Manage store & SSC engineering and roll-out implementation.
- Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures on complex projects. Interface with Business Stakeholders on all applicable projects.
- Update manager on all escalated issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Preferred 5 years' experience
- Thorough understanding of Windows 2008 (R2) Operating System, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft RDS, and Microsoft AppV. Hands-on experience with server hardware technologies is preferred.
- Solid understanding of AD, Network and SAN technologies.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Citrix technologies such as Presentation Server, XenApp, Web Interface, and Netscaler.
- Experience packaging and deploying applications within a Citrix environment. Experience with Microsoft security settings and Group Policy Objects.
- Enterprise-level experience with system administration, support, design, and implementation. Experience with VBScript, Powershell, and automation
