QUANT/OPERATIONAL RISK ANALYST - Zurich area (flexible)-FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONThe EMPLOYER
Key financial institution in Switzerland, our client is growing.
In order to face the development of their Risk department, they are today looking for a quant/operational risk profile.
The purpose of the role is to assess and implement risk model, on the operational risk management level mainly.
The JOB
You will report to the Head of the department and your main tasks will be:
- Operational risk evaluation
- Support with Quant models
- Implementation and analysis of stress tests
- Liquidity risk assessment (in line with new regulatory aspect)
- Consult and advise the business and front office
- Understanding of the financial products, the market risks and multi asset class approach
- Ad hoc project within the risk department
Your PROFILE
- You have a university in Economics (Finance , Banking quantitative specialization ) or in a quantitative discipline, preferably in Mathematics/ Statistics/Physics
- You have min. 5-7 years of professional experience in risk management in a banking environment, with a strong exposure to liquidity management, treasury, ALM or stress testing analysis
- You are a team player, you can ??work independently, you are solutions and service oriented, you are resilient and flexible
- Native (or similar) German (verbally + orally), English fluent + ideally French
- Swiss and/or EU passport (or Swiss permit).
