Requirements:
* BS in Computer Sciences or related field or related, relevant experience
* Proficient in server technologies such as: Microsoft Windows Server , Active Directory, Microsoft SQL , DNS/BIND, MS MQ, NTP and IIS.
* Linux administration experience (Windows is more important)
* Hands-On experience with Microsoft SQL 2008 R (running ad hoc queries and other SQL scripts, troubleshooting SQL jobs, and modifying table records)
* Must possess basic automation / scripting skills: MS WMI, and Batch, or Bash.
* Good understanding of FIX protocol, transmissions, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Application and Event log monitoring and data center operational understanding.
* Thorough understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals
* Fundamental understanding of server systems design, cluster management, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement.
