Fixed Income IT: Back Office and Settlements Development, Net DeveloperSeeking a talented senior.Net C# Engineer candidate with strong system architecture with Microsoft technologies in the Fixed Income Bond Back Office and Settlements Development team in Jersey City Office.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain assigned projects in C# .Net according to business specification and programming standards.
* Provide architecture design for the assigned projects to cover development, testing, & deployment.
* Follow the internal procedures and the guidelines during project life cycle
* Participate in execution of integration & user acceptance testing
* Coordinate w/ Project Manager to communicate status and report issues to the Business & IT management.
Qualifications & Required Skill Set
* 6+ years' experience in software development and system architecture with Microsoft technologies.
* Expert knowledge of C# and .Net Framework (3.5 and 4.0.)
* Strong working experience of multi-threading - coding and debugging
* Strong working knowledge of SQL server 2008 especially CDC and QN.
* Strong Working knowledge of WCF, WPF (or Silverlite) and SOA.
* Strong Working experience with WCF Security concepts.
* Working knowledge of Crystal Reports or SSRS
* Experience in Capital Markets or the broader financial industry.
* Working knowledge of Database design and SQL development is required
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in creating technical documentation.
* Ability to work independently with Business Users/PMO; defining development requirements, managing technical aspects of User Acceptance Testing
* Willingness to work evenings and weekend days as required
