Description

The scope of this project is to improve operational efficiencies in financial transaction processing by leveraging and building on the existing SAP capabilities. These are primarily in the areas of record to report, accounts payable and vendor portal, accounts receivable, financial supply chain management.
  • Manually assign documents
  • Setup automatic document matching using customizable business rules
  • Set communication and processing status
  • Send template based emails using information from selected documents for reconciliation completion and resolution delegation
  • Define customized functions, ie posting correction/balancing documents
  • Create private and public notes and attach supporting documentation - Identify or develop report specifications for tracking of aged items and resolution status.
  • Participates in full delivery life cycle; including planning, requirement and impact analysis, estimation, design, build, test, deploy and support
  • Sets up configuration in the SAP system and has knowledge of the underlying data
  • Writes functional specification so as to work with technical team (developers) to develop and test new functionality
  • Teams up with colleagues and other integrated functional teams (eg Sales & Distribution, Procurement, Manufacturing etc.) and work streams (Development, BI, Data conversion, Security, Training, Compliance etc.) to coordinate the delivery
  • Develops solutions to complex problems through the application of ingenuity and creativity. Ensures that stakeholder interests are identified and addressed
  • Manages stakeholder communications. Keeps proper communication with the Finance stakeholder group and provides update on progress of the various deliverables
  • Facilitates external stakeholder participation.
  • Travel may be required to other company sites.
SKILLS:

4-7 years experience implementing solutions for SAP Finance & Controlling modules, very good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with different stakeholders. Knowledge of HP's Service Center and Quality Center is preferred.
