Support of application project management and release management function for all American Customer Satisfaction Index Gross Domestic Product enhancing project work. Enhancing work and will perform release management and application management functions. Work will involve the daily, weekly, monthly production of excel and Powerpoint release management tracking and status reports. These reports are placed on shared drives and other tools for review by upper management. Need to be technically based to obtain the daily data and understand the best way to display and summarize the data. Need to attend daily meetings with development teams and support teams to understand the current stage and status of all release efforts.

Role and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Project Management
  • Conducts end to end project management of large or multiple large projects. Works as a team member or runs individual projects and is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline and budget.
  • Defines project scope and objectives, coordinates activities of a project team, and identifies resources.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Communicates with internal clients and external vendors

SKILLS:

  • Expert experience required in Microsoft Office - Excel & PowerPoint
  • Intermediate skill required in Unix (all flavors) and Linux
  • Expert Release and Deployment Management experience required
  • Expert Communication Skills required
  • Extensive experience Leading Technical Meetings
  • Experience using social media as a tool
