Description
Seeking an entry level chemistry technician to prepare a urethane material formulation, apply it using appropriate equipment, characterize the finished sample, and keep associated records. The chemist will work with 2-3 colleagues on the project and should be able to communicate and work cooperatively with them.SKILLS:
Required:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A Bachelors Degree in a chemistry, chemical engineering, or a closely related field
- Computer literacy - must have basic computer skills, including MS Excel
- Familiar with standard laboratory equipment and procedures
- Able to work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Urethane Materials Experience
- Experience with formulation of industrial products
- Previous experience in chemical laboratory
