Site construction controller
Our client is looking for an experienced site construction controller to join their Construction team, reporting into a Programme Manager. The role will be based in Dublin, but will be expected to travel around the Republic of Ireland where necessary to deliver the sites in the project portfolio. The sites are time critical within a deadline driven environment. This is a contract position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Site delivery through design, installation, commissioning and integration stages through to Customer acceptance.
- Point of contact for the Design & Construction delivery of projects for all stakeholders.
- Site Survey attendance & information retrievalusingprocess documentation & photos etc.
- Interface with clients, designers, suppliers & landlords.
- Manage project stakeholders effectively. Set and manage expectations appropriately.
- Resource planning & coordination of required resources & personnel.
- Managing subcontractors in the overall process for delivering sites.
- Health & Safety compliance audits, document reviews, build quality management & reporting
- Design review & sign off in accordance with best practice, Health & Safety legalisation, local requirements and Client Design guide and product specifications.
- Delivering projects to performance targets and deadlines (Client KPI & SLA targets & regular reporting).
- Develop and maintain a strong & trusted customer relationship with regular communication updating where requested or required.
- Flexibility regarding working hours & travel with strong communication skills important.
- Client database updating in accordance with requirements set and timelines.
- Client forecasting database updating and accuracy.
- B. Eng Civil/Structural engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Project management experience in a mobile telecoms roll-out - (Desirable).
- GSM, UMTS, Fibre, Microwave Wireless broadband system background - (Desirable).
- Prince 2/PMP/PMI qualified or equivalent qualification (Desirable).
- Working knowledge of GSM/UMTS networks, Transmission equipment, DC power systems,
- Available to travel (full clean driving licence).
- Ability to climb towers or access roof tops using fall arrest systems and harness etc.
