Role Purpose
The Senior RF Design and Optimisation Engineer is a technical lead role in the Radio Performance and Design team that supports the operator to deliver the best technical solution for their respective networks.
€350 and €370 a day
Duration: At least 3 months, to be based in Dublin.
Essence of Role - Key Accountabilities
- Deployment of New Technologies - (LTE, U900)
- Feature Evaluation, trialling and reporting on existing and planned technology platforms
- HLD/LLD document design and approval for new technologies
- Vendor management
- Ownership of new parameter trials
- Performance Improvement recommendations to parent networks
- 3GPP Roadmap
- Communicate plans and trial results to key stakeholders
- Participate in RAN technical forums within Netshare Ireland
- Participate in troubleshooting of high priority RAN Performance Issues when required
Technical/Professional Expertise
Essential
- 5 years RAN experience
- 3rd level degree in Engineering, Science or Computer based subject matter
- RAN Planning and Design principles
- Knowledge of E//OSS and ENIQ stats tool
- RAN Capacity Management experience
- RAN architecture - expert E2E understanding
- Proven track record in similar lead RAN design role
