Senior Sybase DBA
We seek a seasoned Sybase DBA for a marquee TV network in Atlanta, GA. This is a critical role responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and patching. You will work in a new office with a modern flare! Plans are to migrate applications to SQL over the next couple of years; you will be a major part of this migration in this role. Previous SQL experience is great, but a desire to learn is all it will take to do this job!
We seek someone with excellent communication skills and who can easily communicate with/interface with developers. Enjoy this 3 months contract to hire role at an excellent company!
Skills/Experience Required:
- 7+ years strong Sybase ASE (Sybase ASE 12.0, 12.51 and 15.0.3)
- 2+ years with Sybase IQ (12.7)
- Experience within a multiplex/multi-node environment
- Familiarity with tools - DBArtisan, ETL Tools, BCP, SFTP
- UNIX Scripting, crontab scheduling
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills and communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience in the field
