Description
We are looking for a local freelance information architecture consultant to perform occasional project work for a small Vancouver based graphic design firm creating small and large web sites. This opportunity involves developing site maps and wireframes which can be easily interpreted by our designers. No front-end design required. No HTML required. Duties would include:
- Meeting with clients
- Communicating your process
- Documenting requirements and making recommendations
- Auditing existing site content, analytics data, and competitor sites
- Conducting user testing and card sorts
- Creating site maps
- Developing web and mobile wireframes
- Advising our graphic designers, developers, and clients
You would work out of your own office. We are looking for a long-term partnership with a reliable, professional, team-player. We will do all the design, development and project management work. In return we ask for speed, reliability and the ability to meet tight deadlines without fuss or drama.
Should have experience working with professional graphic design firms/agencies. Must be an independent consultant (do not apply if you have a full-time job elsewhere). Must be based in Vancouver, Canada. Must have good communication and presentation skills.
