Description
My client, a global investment bank, seeks a DTC Settlements Associate to join their team in Midtown Manhattan. Responsibilities will include processing and settling trades through DTC for all US equity accounts, minimizing fail control and resolving unmatched trades communicating with internal client representatives, trading assistants and other settlement associates. You will also be involved in managing failed trades, confirmation issues; DTC pair offs, and account balances.This role is ideal for an associate level candidate who has strong excel skills and is interested in gaining product knowledge in a cross organizational team.
- Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, V look ups)
- Experience in a DTC Settlements role
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or comparable
- 2-5 year of experience in a financial organization
- Motivated and hard working
- Eager to learn
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
