Description
My client, a leading investment bank in Midtown Manhattan, is looking for a strong compliance candidate who comes from an operational background within a financial institute. The successful candidate will sit with the Fixed Income Operations group and serve as the subject matter expert for the regulatory changes. We need someone who knows the Dodd Frank rules and regulations and can also effectively liaise with upper management and IT to streamline processes.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain cross product knowledge in a lean team that promotes from within. Ideally this candidate will have 4-7 years experience in an operational role and have direct exposure to the regulatory changes within Dodd Frank and the rules that pertain to it.
You must have:
- Currently working with Dodd Frank and compliance regulations
- 4+ years in an operational role
- Strong work ethic and ownership
- Effective communication skills
- Team oriented
- Experience working with Derivatives
- Fixed Income experience is not required - but is a plus
- Local, or willing to relocate to the greater NYC area.
