Salary: €50,000 ideally and may stretch to €55,000

Product: SaaS web portal - Application: management stack - Operating systems templates for clients
Environment: 20 datacenters worldwide - Linux (some Windows), Cisco , VMware
- Automation focused environment meaning 16 dev to 1 test
- Growing system engineering team of 2
3 functions to this Linux System Engineering role:
1. Managing IT infrastructure in-house - dev & test environment
2. 3rd level support - investigation of complex problems and understanding customer's issues
3. Working with the Ops team in the (US & India) to deploy releases
- build engineering / releases engineering
- 4 major releases every year (worldwide in 1 day)
- 3-4 patch releases in-between
Necessary:
- Linux Systems (a little Windows)
- Shell scripting
Advantageous:
- Some database skills (SQL scripts)
- Some automation and continuous integration experience
In this role what you do everyday has a real impact globally and you get to see it immediately.
1st round Interviews to begin 18th & 19th February, then online tech test and then final interviews on the 25th & 26th of February.
