Role: Senior Finance ManagerCompany: European Bank
Salary: £65,000 to £80,000 per annum + Benefits
Start date: April/May 2014
Location: London
An opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Manager/Accountant to work for a European Bank based in London.
You will have 3 direct reports and your main objective is to ensure an effective financial control function is operated within the Bank.
You will be experienced in:
- You will be responsible for the daily reporting and maintenance of Bank of England Trust and Liquidity Buffer accounts.
- Management reports, IFRS & USGAAP reports.
- Preparing or managing Regulatory Reports for the FCA and/or PRA.
- Keeping up to date with legislation and accountancy practice and implementing appropriate changes as required.
- Internal Audit and SOX findings.
- Experience in Finance Budget - Actual / budgeted Finance related costs / total operational costs.
- Developing and maintaining the systems of management accounting and budgeting control throughout the Bank.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in Financial Management.
- Minimum 7 years experience as a Finance Manager or Finance Director or Head of Finance Role.
- Qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- MS Excel and Access to advanced level.
- Strong knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Recent experience in Banking is vital
