This leading and innovative global pharmaceutical company is looking for an exceptional candidate to join their team as a GI Medical Manager.
Managing a team of MSLs this role is responsible for supporting the company profile by providing scientific and clinical support to medical marketing and sales teams and managing research and communication with KOLs.
Key Responsibilities:

- Build and manage relationships with KOLs

- Effective management and leadership ability

- Engage with current medical affairs and updates within the NHS together with maintaining knowledge of company products, trials data and clinical developments

- Ensure all activities strictly adhere to the ABPI code

- Responsible for approving promotional material for the marketing department

- Devise and deliver training for relevant SOPs and customer focused team

- Review grant applications from external customers fulfilling position on the Grants and Donations team

- Present clinical data packages internally and externally

- Represent Senior Directors at appointments where necessary

- Lead UK input into development plans through liaison with the Senior Directors

- Support UK site selection and manage clinical studies lead by the company's associated CROs

- Assist with enquiries to support the Medical information team

  • Tactile and adaptable

Key Skills:

In depth knowledge and experience of Gastroenterology

Previous line management experience

PhD or postgraduate degree

In depth knowledge of ABPI and code of practice

Advanced IT skills
