As the RA Manager reporting into the Head of R&D, you will be the expert of your portfolio, and will manage the external influence directly through involvement in trade associations and indirectly through leadership of the internal category regulatory network.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing regulatory leadership to business strategy
  • Providing regulatory leadership to project plans; including claims, devices and formulations and regulatory requirements and timeframes
  • Leading and developing the regulatory network to meet the needs of the business
  • Representing in key industry association committees
  • Update the company on global cosmetic/personal care regulations
  • Providing regulatory input to the development and implementation of advocacy and issue management in areas of interest to the core business
  • Product registrations for cosmetics/personal care portfolio


The ideal candidate will hold a relevant medical or scientific degree; have a minimum of 4 years regulatory affairs experience in cosmetics/FMCG. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills are fundamental too - you will be liaising with senior business leaders, development scientists, marketing, legal, and regulatory affairs experts, so you will need to communicate effectively and clearly in order to be effective across a culturally diverse organisation.
