Microsoft BI Developer (SSIS / SSAS / SSRS)
My London based client is a retail travel based organisation and they are looking for a high calibre developer with good exposure to SQL and Business Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support an existing Microsoft business intelligence solution which has been built with the following technologies:
* SQL Server 2005, 2008 R2, 2012
* SSIS
* SSAS
* MDS
* MDX
* ETL Engine
* Visual Studio .Net
Continue the deployment of the business intelligence solution to various countries across the world.
Produce and update design documents and communicate with the rest of the business and their partners to ensure an appropriate solution. Any business intelligence design will use the Kimball methodologies as a framework.
Work with the rest of the business intelligence development team providing support and advice as needed, as well as researching and promoting the use of new technologies.
Essential Experience:
* SQL development
* SSIS development
* SSAS development
* Understanding of MDX
* 5 Years commercial BI experience
* Adept data analysis ability
* Expert design capability
* Full development lifecycle experience
* Delivered solutions on time
* Worked in a corporate environment
* Good communicator
Desirable Experience:
* MDS development
* SSRS development
* DQS development
* .NET application development
* Retail EPOS systems experience
* Accounting systems knowledge
