We work with a wide- ranging client base, including Rail, Construction, Defence, Security, Water, Power, Renewables and Nuclear sectors.We currently have an enviable pipeline of opportunities where we plan to support our key clients' pursuit teams and where an experienced interim Proposal Manager will be pivotal to the delivery of Harmonic's business winning solution. The role is embedded into our client's team where we work collaboratively to lead management and technical aspects of the proposal.
Role and Responsibilities
The Proposal Manager takes a leading role in the timely delivery of compelling proposals to Harmonic's clients across all capabilities and service lines and is responsible for:
- Bid planning/scheduling and resources
- Holding effective Kick off meetings
- Organising and facilitating BW Reviews; Scheduling Gate Reviews for governance purposes
- Preparing bid and proposal content and co-ordinating contributions from authors/SME's
- Building the boilerplate and re-use library
- Responsible for bid production to the highest standards
Required Experience/Competencies
Key attributes of the Proposal Manager we require will include:
- Bidding best practice tools/techniques awareness
- Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Foundation or willingness to undertake
- Literate and numerate
- 2+ years relevant experience
