Description
An internationally recognised Service Provider is seeking a VMWare Systems Administrator to join their Canberra team for a 12 month contract.
DUTIES
- Provide BAU support for multi VMware systems and other accounts if required.
- Work with problem & change tools (including but not limited to Maximo, ManageNow, CPMA & Infoman) to maintain client SLAs.
- Security compliance under the relevant security policies.
- Familiarity with virtual server concepts such as VMware and Xen.
- Must be able to work with multiple accounts at the one time.
- Must be a self-starter who can work with minimum supervision.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- VMWare ESX System Administrator use of DRS, Vmotion
- Enterprise Backup solutions
- Citrix Xen Desktop, VMware View
- VMWare VCP 4 Certification
NON - TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Ability to meet ALL deadlines
- Teaming
- Communication Oral & Written
- Self Starter
- Ability to deal with high profile clients
