We have a new contract role for a SAP development Architect/Project Lead that will be overseeing onshore and offshore development for a key SAP project, based in Auckland. This position will involve overseeing the development work and acting as the bridge between the functional and technical teams. You will be the "Quality Control", reviewing functional specs and monitoring the code from the technical teams both in-house and offshore.
Your Ideal Background:
- 8 years of SAP ABAP development experience, and experience as an Architect or Project Manager.
- Team leadership experience is essential.
- The ability to review and perform spot checks to make sure both functional and technical teams are conforming to the specifications for the success of the project.
- We are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills that can lead people and keep quality high.
- Having a good backbone would certainly be an advantage.
- Experience covering Finance, CRM and Real Estate would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent English language communication skills and problem solving skills are required.
