Modeller/Leeds/£40K-£60KA major bank is looking for a number of Modellers to support their team based in Leeds.
Skills
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Able to communicate complex technical information to non technical audiences.
Excellent listening, presentation and influencing skills.
Able to effectively represent credit risk / the business externally and act as a company ambassador.
Presents effectively at major meetings - internal and external.
Experience
Secured Retail Credit Risk Management experience.
Experience of building models/scorecards (e.g. application scorecards, behavioural scorecards, PD/EAD/LGD models).
Experience of leading and developing benchmarking activities.
Understanding of Basel II IRB requirements.
Extensive Retail Credit Risk Management experience.
Detailed knowledge of Credit Bureau data and systems.
Good Credit Risk Analyst mentoring/supervisory experience.
Proven experience in planning, controlling and delivering small/medium risk projects and participating in and/or leading cross functional projects /investigations.
Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of SAS.
Excellent IT Skills - e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Word
Excellent knowledge of retail credit risk management good practice, policy and processes.
Excellent commercial and financial understanding, including legislative and regulatory requirements, as they affect Credit Risk.
Salary - £40K-£60K
